@Sota I'm the same for a home invader. I have the perfect setup at my house. All the bedrooms are upstairs. I have a dog that barks at her own shadow, and a wife that wakes up if a 1mph wind starts in the middle of the night. If someone breaks in all I have to do is get my son from his room into our room and then guard the top of the stairs. I don't own anything I'm so attached to that it's worth shooting someone over...well, except maybe my truck lol...so I can simple announce that I know they're there, the cops have been called, and if they step foot on the stairs lethal force will be applied.
We have cameras that ping notify animal, human, or vehicle, dogs that bark like crazy nobody is getting close.
Bad part about it your solution to pistol whip someone would probably be better in this day and age. If you shot somone comong in your house you'd probably be the one in jail. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Lol ain't that the truth. Though I was pretty quiet, there was a woman across the hall making a dictionary of new swear words screaming at the top of her lungs and threatening horrid things to the baby daddy that...yep was absent. I turned to my nurse and said if I start sounding like that, full hand slap me. Later I looked at her and said I'm sorry for this. Then turned to hubby and said in a low menacing tone, If you cause blood to run up my IV one more time I'll rip your F--- ing head right off your shoulders... The nurse laughed out loud.
When my wife had her last child my son she commented about the pain to our family Doctor, he told her she would have to take it up with Eve. The only thing that prevented the Dr from getting punched was the fact that I was laughing so damn hard, none of the blows landed directly.
Someone would not like it if they came in my house with intent to hurt anyone. Now if some dumb drunk guy stumbled into my house I surely would be alarmed but they are pretty easy to diagnose.
That happened to me. I was living at my brothers and a drunk came banging at the door at 2 in the morning. I opened the main door to shut him up before he woke the kids. I was met with blood squirting through the storm door screen. WTH!!!!!. At that point I just assumed car accident or stabbing. We were in town and I made him stay out side then ran for a towel and my car keys. The hospital was 4 blocks over and knew I'd be faster than the ambulance. On the way I found out he had come home drunk and to a pizzed off wife. She pushed him through their picture window. ER Doc said I probably saved his life, had he passed out trying to find help he'd bled to death. They then called the cops. We were the only house with lights on.
Yeah crazy stuff happens. Sometimes the people who look the most guilty really need our help. Couple months ago we get a call that a guy was in his house acting crazy with a knife. Mom meets us outside...naked. She tells us he has stabbed himself in the neck and is acting nuts. I come through the door with two of my guys. See a completely naked young man covered head to toe in blood with blood squirting out of his neck. We get to him and stuff clotting gauze into his neck and the wound is nearly through his entire neck and out the other side. He is near death. Medics get on scene and rush him to the hospital. Surgery and save him. Find out this 20 yr old kid had been in a car accident a couple years prior and had banged his head pretty bad. Then we find out he had gotten into a car accident the night before and suffered a compounding brain injury which made him go insane and try to kill himself. True victim when at first thought we are thinking he was lunatic with a knife. Kid is alive.
