... doesn't help that IL public land is far away. I'd be better off hunting KY or as I also already hunt, in WI.
Yes, my good friend owns land near lake view, been through Edmore many many times. What’s the name of the bowshop near there, I believe it’s west of Edmore and also sells trailer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Goldstar. It's where I bought my license last week. ...posted mask rules made me laugh. I told my old man "apparently they don't care much about about masks" and this customer in a full US Army ACUs (officer) looked over at me and said "yeah, they don't give a flying rip" and I laughed. We actually hunt on the E side of Edmore and Alma with WalMart/Meijer is about as close but I like going in to a classic outdoor pro shop and supporting local business when I can.
Yep, that's it, I bought a treestand for my buddy there, OMG like 15 years ago. His wife was battling breast cancer the second time and his kid wanted to get into bowhunting. We had a shot 6 point the first night and the kid dong his release on the bow. This worked out because the next day Dad sat with him and he got a classic Michigan spike!!!! I am more proud of that spike than any big buck I have shot. Mom died next spring. My buddy remarried and is doing well, in fact, his stepdaughter has the biggest buck killed on the property now for the last 5 years. I always ask his son at the start of every year now, you going to get one bigger than your stepsister this year.
