We can tell them that until our faces are blue but they will most likely not. Unfortunately a lot of people buying that stuff are not the most educated about any type of politics (at least the ones here in Foley). The flags, bumper stickers, and shirts are just a social thing to them. They could care less about the politics themselves. They would have no idea why they are voting for Trump. I can tell you as a FACT why many in NYS do not Register to vote. They feel it ties them to jury duty let me tell you that actually becomes harrassment. I was always being called up for it. Then I had enough and sent a rather aggressive letter to them saying NO MORE, and no, you can not force me, period. Hears why..... I no longer hear from them. Registering to vote, getting a drivers license should never tie a person to anything other than voting or driving.
I am disappointed that I have only been picked to be in a pool for jury duty 1 time, I would gladly do it.
How can main stream blantly lie as they do ? Seriously it's gotten bizzar. I watched the same thing they did, I was laughing and crying, then singing those patriotic songs. I was glad to do it the first 4 times in 5 years. Then they told me I had to drive to the city ,forced to find my own parking, in one of the most dangerous areas. I was physically assulted in that city at the age of 12. It was my personalty of fight that saved me from two hispanic males. After elbowing one in the guts then standing my ground when threatening me with a knife. They ended up walked away calling me loco. So no The government decided that they weren't sending a police car to come pick me up and take me home for my protection . Ps out of that only 2 times was I picked. The last time I sat 8 hours with a hour lunch break to end up being the only person sitting in the gallery. The judge thanked and apologized to me before saying your dismissed.
54 yo, never been called for jury duty. Been registered to vote since I was 18...4 of those in NY, also GA and NC. Closest I ever came was a federal grand jury pool (mailed) survey.
Oh everyone I know votes and drives...yet not one of them save hubby as gotten a summons to jury duty and he never had to go.
I've been on the hook for jury duty 4 or 5 times since being 18 but haven't ever even had to go report in person. One time they started off right at my number range, but the whole month when I called the message was "all cases have been dismissed, settled, or postponed".
Today I head to the state capital for the #letthemplay rally. I will have my football and my touchdown dance ready to go!!
