I've actually thought of this over the years. A lot of people have nothing to live for in their personal lives. No drama at work or risking their lives. No need to hunt and fish for food. No invading force from which to defend. So they seek out meaning in any form available.

"If Trump truly cares about ending the violence he should contact McConnell and tell him to pass enhanced background checks amd end the gunshow loopholes." What a blithering dolt, hard to defend someone who served the country and moments before that stated she would "fight for the rights of the peaceful protestors with her life". How about you defend the rest of the Constitution with that same passion and commitment. Still not sure how gun control ends these violent rioters from seizing control of districts within the Democrat controlled cities where gun laws are strictest. Pence will chew her up and spit her out in a debate....... oh that's right, Democrats won't participate in debates this year, nevermind.
Well if Trump truly cares about the violence he should do executive orders banning all frozen bottles and cans, green lasers, base ball bats out side of a baseball fields, fat people poured into latex and sports bras....ect,ect,ect
