I clicked link, THAT'S totally different from that pic. Though I could barely make any of it out. I wouldn't enlarge.
Try this. The guy had just stabbed an old man too. I’m thinking it was suicide by cop? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Thanks! That one I was able to enlarge and hear. One less moron in the gene pool. I still don't get what was up with the pic in Germs post.
Germs picture is a screenshot from the body cam video. Near as I can tell the officer had already fired 6-7 shots at close range when that screenshot was taken. Her gun then suffered a jam and she cleared that jam and he was still advancing and she kept firing at least another 5-6 shots. It happens so fast it’s hard to count the shots taken. I am impressed she held the gun and cleared that spent casing so quickly. Am I right in thinking the man held onto the slide as she fired, preventing the brass from being ejected? Regardless, glad to see she didnt suffer a serious injury!
On a sidenote, this video does An excellent job illustrating why high-capacity magazines are important :-) Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Sorry but once the trigger has to be pulled I think they should keep pulling. Do you know how many holes have to be put in someone on PCP or meth before they quit? No telling what people are on. If they cross the line to get shot then they, and society, need to be willing to accept that. Not that killing them should be the officers main objective but left to the officers discretion. On a side note. Have there ever been any experiments with fast acting tranquilizers? Probably a terrible idea but it does suck that someone having the most horrible day of their life could end up getting shot to death.
Dang! I better get the peepers checked before deer season lol Holy hell I could see the law suits and police arrests from unintentional deaths from being tranquilized. They will always be damned if you do and dead if you don't.
Yea I know I guess tasers were the closest thing to non lethal and I hear they can still kill people from time to time. Throw the heart rhythm off I guess.
Who knows who has a pacemaker these days as well . That and brain wave issues.electronic implanted hearing aides
Thank goodness our 700 man dept hasnt succumb to the pc correctness in ref to lethal weapons and capacity. We continue to train and give more and more patrol officers .223 rifles with enough ammo to defend. We have had 3 active shooter situations in our schools in this county in the last 15 yrs. We are prepared to win.
That woman officer was impressive as hell in that video, she used the off hand to seperate, then cleared the jam, and continued to shoot. That is excellent training. 99% of the conceal and carry people fantasize that they could do that in a confrontation.
