I agree, but the killer who killed my dad in '84 is out on parole as we speak so they do not always spend the rest of their lives behind bars. Should someone who kills a pregnant woman when abortion is legal be able to be charged with 2 murders is all I am asking, that could be the difference between being parole eligible or not.

"Fox News did to our parents what they thought video games would do to us."

I hate Fox News, CNN, and all mainstream media, but Fox and Friends have been beating their chest about video games somehow being the culprit  . I've played violent video games for 20 years and I have never thought to harm a soul.

Considering the time frame from when a woman has intercourse to when the pregnancy is discovered and verified the fetus is far from a "group of cells". Liberals will abort a baby but the death sentence for a violent criminal is reprehensive. Just ponder that and let it sink in.

Same here except I can't honestly say I never thought to harm a soul. Just that the video games had nothing to do with those instances.

These self appointed Demigods masquerading as mental health professional's, spouting what they see as the cause of these mass killings. The dribble they spew on the airvwaves makes me want to vomit. They are taught by the same types of morons, they all read the same " insightful " literature and recycle the same round table type BS.
If they actually took their heads out of their arses and spent their time observing real human nature they'd just might gain some intelligen insight.

True I get what you're saying. Just makes me cringe thinking about it. Touchy subject especially if being a victim. I don't know how I'd feel if I was in your shoes but I sure wouldn't like it that's certain. One reason why I moved away from major cities and suburbs just the life of violence is getting worse. Don't know if you'll be in the next mass shooting or a victim of a senseless act. I work the city life as a local 134 electrician, never know when the next stray bullet is gonna be around. A month ago walking back to the parking garage 2 high schoolers were fighting then turned into guns being pulled and bullets flying. The only 2 were hurt was them but still never know now a days.

Idk, the rich kid that killed my first wife and unborn child only got six years thanks to his daddies lawyer. So, I guess it depends on how much you pay the judge and lawyer.

What is interesting if anyone on this board that should be a conservative and not give a rats ass about any of us it's Okiebob. He owns more land than this board collectively I would guess, he probably writes checks to the IRS more than most make here in a year. Yet here he is fighting for the betterment of his follow citizens, working with Habit for Humanity. A lot of you guys are against abortion, well at least in talk only.

I'm not that impressed with wealth, lots of rich liberal quacks in the world. "Betterment of fellow citizens" is a subjective phrase that applied to both Jesus Christ and Hitler.

My point is you do not know what posters here donate or community projects they are involved in, many people wish to keep their philanthropy to themselves.

Or get sick with medicare and nothing else. My brother's got between 5-7 years life expectancy for an IPF diagnosis. The out of pocket cost of his meds next year will be $15k. And no, he cannot afford to spend $15k on medicine.

I watched "The Vietnam War" docu-series recently and then read the accompanying book. Amazing how much lying both parties did in that era that taught us not to ever fully trust again.

Exactly, thanks for making my point. Should anyone go bankrupt because they got sick?
