Really poor white trash? There it is in full display your sad sorry personal , intellectual failings. You may have raised yourself from poverty or what ever you deem as poor, but you certainly never raised your self up out of a depth of ignorance.
Your right virginiashadow. This is not fair to the rest of the members on this site and I will not respond to further personal attacks. Though This being a vent thread, I wont be bullied into political silence.
Seeing that wasn't a personal attack. If I said that, which I very may well have. This should not bother anyone with any left leaning views. Really male, female??? It's all mute isn't it in a non gender narrative? Oh that's right no he or she, man or woman. IT would have been better my bad
I just like poking the bear.. I blame the media for all of this tbh. What happened, happened and it's disgusting. And you are right, math is not racist or bias. But being the silver lining kinda guy, all these protests during a pandemic might be just what we needed, a second wave of covid among the younger population that will lend to building a better herd immunity.
The last 5 police shootings over the past 3 years we have had in my county at work.... 2 black males (1 armed and advancing, one unarmed and struggling with officer), one died. One hispanic male(armed and advancing) died. Two white males (one armed and shot an officer, one unarmed and advancing)---both lived.
The biggest failure was the Brown case by Obama IMO. He could have stood up and condoned the kid's actions, he did not. Until we can be honest on both sides we are screwed IMO and I don't see that happening anytime soon The second biggest failure is Martin case with George IMO with gun owners.
Honesty is the biggest thing. Be honest. Both sides( or 33 sides bc no one person is the same)...bc we as humans love to pick a side. It is like a little endorphin rush to pick a side and battle. But that is what politicians thrive on, picking a side and splitting people up.
Maybe, but also maybe infecting others, like their parents, grandparents, neighbors, folks they interact with... I do agree the media is culpable, but the C-19 newscycle was way past its prime...
Exactly if don't stick to that one side or venture off, well you're just not worthy. If one choose to not have a side, that can't happen.
Agreed. By definition 'sides' are creating or perpetuating division. I'm already tired of rhetoric and generalities. Neither are fostering change. Floyd's death aside, or specifically his as the 'use case', what specific changes are needed? Racism, not specific enough. Police judgement or brutality not specific enough... Once VERY specific problems are identified change(s) can begin. Casting a blind eye and not enforcing the law certainly isn't helping. Robert Johnsons throw $14T is not going to change diddly squat. A black box on FB, same. The 'Recognizing my bias' BS forced down my throat by my employer, nope. Me supposed to feel responsible for injustices of others, hell no. Celebrities, musicians piping up, F no.
I disagree with the second part, biggest failure with the Martin case was the prosecutors. Gun owners did not have a 9 minute video, or anything else to go by. I think there was a few security cam clips and a gas station clip of Martin buying skittles. That case was all about was it a justifiable self defense shooting. Which evidence pointed as so, the prosecution failed, and the media portrayed him as a young teenager rather than a young adult. When people hear Zimmerman now, Treyvon Martin is likely the 2nd thing they think of. Post trial Zimmerman is usually the first, and had that Zimmerman been known prior to Treyvon Martin, the trial outcome may have been different. Still unsure if the post trial Zimmerman was a result of the Martin incident or if that is who he was/is. The problem anymore with shootings is the shooter is automatically guilty until proven innocent. With cases like Brown, the escalation was already obtained well before facts emerged. All on the false story his hands were up and he was shot anyway, even Holder and the DOJ found that one justified.
Anyone who would do that to a delicious Krispy Kreme is obviously a terrorist and needs to be thrown in Guantanamo.
Brown was a thug. Now there is a Statue of him on the arch grounds like he was some martyr. Disgusting. Darren Wilson did what any one of us would have done if a 6’4” 300 lb man was attacking us. Getting punched over and over. The evidence Was crystal clear and the media and everyone else turned a blind eye
