Twitter and other big Tech companies have brought this on to themselves, esp. Twitter .... They are under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act as a neutral public platform. When they started making editorial decisions, blacklisting, shadowbanning, editorialize and now "fact check" (who's facts ? and what truth ??) they have turned into a political activism organization ... Twitter has morphed from what they originally said they were and what they said they would be ... I dont 'tweet nor fascistbook(FaceBook) ... I know what these places are and what they have become and they need slapped down a good notch or two ..

We have been lulled to sleep as a country and people just say..."hey man its property. Screw it insurance will pay for it". No it's more than that...its your property you paid for it and sacrificed. A person doesn't have the right to come up on your property and destroy things without a good butt kicking. Its human respect. When you let the little stuff like that go, things get worse. Toughen up America and be a man!
Protesters saying that they are coming for the suburbs next, the protesters are going to soon learn that their **** will not fly you get further from the city liberalism is not the norm. Out in the country we do not slap we punch.
Sorry it's not just man up America, it's man up black america in this case. Law abiding, justly angry, black Americans have got to man up an speak out against what their peers are doing. As disgusting ,and sickening it was for all people to see what those cops did, whats happening now is just as bad. I read the order and tried to imagine myself as a social media exec. I'm sure how I would react to the order, a bit conflicted. My first reaction, is be pissed and considering moving my company HQ offshore. The order seems to ignore a few key points: 1. Social media companies are global corporations and need to comply with laws of many jurisdictions. Many of which require means to censor (e.g. China, Middle East nations) and or have other quirks, which have mandates seemingly in conflict to the order. This forces public companies to incur expense or avoid expense for their shareholders. 2. 1st amendment was written to prohibit government restrictions on free speech. It's ironic that both the XO and 230(c) of the Communications Decency act are both Government rules which include 'obligations' which may limit some speech, per Fed. Government law. 3. Complying the order seems to conflict with 230(c) of the Communications Decency Act. Forcing companies to decide which to comply with. Censor hate speach, vulgarity, threats, nudity, etc or allow it as free speech. This as 1st amendment law allows all sorts of crap. 4. Free speech, is never without consequence, regardless of name, rank or title.
