I like how the same people who absolve President Trump of all responsibility for having his head in the sand leading up to the Covid-19 pandemic can turn that same argument back around on Governor Whitmer and blame her for not taking action on the dams that have recently broken in Midland County. The partisanship of this country of late is absolutely appalling and infantile. Before this ruffles any feathers: 1) no I am not calling out anyone specifically, rather groups of people as the logic works both ways and occurs in spades on both sides of the aisle; and 2) I believe that both President Trump and Governor Whitmer hold responsibility in their respective matters.

The dams failed 2020 lets see no action 2018 through 2020 Actually as far back as 1999, so I'm willing to put some of this blame on those previous Republican Gov.'s. The FERC denied the dams hydro plants permits due to the issue and still the DNR that oversees these Dams did nothing. Who oversee's the DNR? She has quotes that can be looked up admitting she knew of the problems,while planning a damage law suit by the state. Certainly fast on her feet for that. I have no idea why I ,for one ,would blame her...gee BTW I kept that short by not detailing all the "things" that had her attention as those dams continued getting weaker over the years. All documented ,much digitally. Gosh perhaps she'll get the VP nod she had taking up her limited faculties during that time.
