I recall a GI who served on Afghanistan. At night, they could hear the screams of young boys who were assaulted by men. They could do nothing about it! Anyone shed light on this?
It's what's back again in Afghanistan, since 2021. The lives sacrificed so Afghanistan can end up in the sample place, the people in the Middle East need to rise up and demand change, what we are doing today won't matter unless Iran wants change
Iran citizens have been rising up, just ask the tens of thousands massacred for it. Dictators do not allow rise ups and change from an unarmed public, it's why the 2nd amendment was given to us American citizens in the drafting of the US constitution. Regime change is/was necessary but the new government needs to be for the people of Iran or it fails.

Until members of Congress stop becoming millionaires after being elected into office and carving themselves out of legislation it really doesn't matter. When the laws they pass affect them as much as it effects us, maybe then it will truly be for the people and by the people. Until then we're just second class citizens.
