So I'd rather my American money go to bail out farmers than give freebees to illegals. That said, not being so quick to feel too terribly bad for many a farmer. We have dairy farming families in our family. Our son and I have worked dairy farms and he still helps out on a beef operation. We were in 4H for years with the local farmers. Yah farmers they come in all levels of competency or lack there of. Do not get me going on JD period! They developed a monopoly in regards to equipment service then gouge anyone that needs parts and service. We've owned JD for years.
JD got sued over forcing farmers to have their equipment repaired by factory people, locked up computer access to trouble shoot and repair. They were screwing farmers over.

Don't try to reason with logic. Just get the ol', "Yeah, but Trump...." Last I seen Trump said the Farmer's are getting hit right now, which is expected, but they were going to open up some Tariff money to help offset the burden until the benefits start being realized. It's always overreact before facts are determined, and then "Yeah, but" their way into still being right, even though they weren't.

Do you not see that the current tariff policy is hurting farmers? How many have to go bankrupt for you to take your head out of the sand. I know we will bail them out again, with Tariff money this time. Will take other people's money and give it to the farmers, what's that called again? Fillings are up 70% in 2025. I think the problem started in 2024 if you look at the numbers. The trade policy has just accelerated the problem. I was sure someone as smart as Trump would have seen this, but I forgot he's a moron.
