Social media and the internet is 100% driving what is happening in our country. On top of that, whoever is doing these things… they are also fu*ck3d in the head. No matter your leaning (republican/democrat). There is no reason for this to be happening. Any normal human should ever care so much about something where they think it’s ok to kill another human being. It’s out of control. Politics and personal beliefs should not come at the fate of another human. We need to stop this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We are in the temper tantrum era of our country. Kids with no resilience and mental health disorders are being manufactured. Scary.
Tyler Robinson, if this is the kid what the hell went wrong. his dad held him until police got there, reports state. Utah President Scholar, full ride Looks to be your standard middle class family
I cannot fathom that this kid from this family did this. That's his dad(someone states) who turned him in. Those are the same damn shoes
Trying my hardest not to comment on this but... I believe it's indicative of 3 huge problems in our society. The worst part was Mr. Kirk was an advocate for solving them. 1. There is such a divide created and manipulated by the media that we no longer look at other Americans and or humans as brothers but as acceptable enemies of the worst caliber. Only through actually speaking and truly listening to each other can we humanize each other again. 2. Mental health issues are running rampant throughout our society in part through the celebration and acceptance of them as a class of Americans as opposed to what they are... In need of help and supervision. 3.The biggest factor in my eyes is the complete breakdown of the criminal justice system. We have the laws. It's about time we enforce them without bias or influence. Harsh crime needs SWIFT and HARSH reaction. We are on a precipice and we could fail and fall as a nation. Or we can hold each other accountable and help when we can, listen when we should and punish when it's right. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
That guy is lucky there were enough level-headed people there to calm the situation down. Sadly, there will be more of this. The leftists do not want peace and are willing to instigate. They either do not care or do not have the mental capacity to realize they are vastly outnumbered. I truly hope that peaceful resolution will prevail. I am not convinced the extreme leftists will allow it. Chaos is what they want.
It's hard to understand how a seeminly normal kid from a normal middle-class family, whose father was a police officer for 20+ years, could become so hateful (or perhaps fearful) in a short period of time that he felt this was a good thing for our society. Honestly, it just makes me really sad. To a couple of points made here: While I agree with this, the younger generation is not watching our traditional media. Most of them don't even have TV. They live their lives 100% online - mostly on YouTube and TikTok, or on Reddit. They get their information is short bursts, and it's usually sensationalized rants or cleverly edited reels & memes to push a specific perspective. You can find countless clips of Charlie Kirk that are edited to make him look like a monster. We (us old folks) like to blame CNN and MSNBC and others, but nobody pays attention to them anymore. Again, not disagreeing with this, but these targeted assasinations typically aren't done by people with rampant mental health issues. They take careful planning and are well thought-out. The shooter thinks they are doing the world a favor and helping our society by doing this. On the flip side, the mass shootings we see in schools and churches are done by relatively deranged individuals looking to cause maximum damage before unaliving themselves in most cases. It's a different kind of mental health issue. Again, not disagreeing we have an issue, but that's not the cause in many of these situations. In the Charlotte killing yes, our criminal justice system failed. Prior to that, our socioeconomic system failed that man and many in his community across our country. In the case of most of these other shootings, the perpetrators rarely have any sort of criminal history or background. They are law-abiding citizens up until the point they aren't. No law is going to stop that.
Why getting the award scholarship for college at Utah State for grades, he dropped out after his first semester. Like Justin, what made this kid become a monster? Also makes me very sad.
When scociety raises weak minded people they reap individuals that are easily radicalized. The radicalization could be in anything. Nowadays it's basically a roulette wheel spin on what can cross their path at the right time.
Well it sounds like there are others conspiring with him. Someone dropped him the rifle and gave him the dope on it. I want to know the others involved.
