What ever happened to AID' s? Back in my " prime poking year's", I passed on some Prime Poking because of the fear. Did that disease just go away?, Been years since I've heard of it. I remember the endless attention from the media.
I think they need to drop the new case tally. With more testing numbers will go up. Add in contact tracing and precautionary testing, the numbers go up even further. What they need to report numbers on is hospital admissions, percentage of admitted on vents and a more accurate death count. I no longer trust new case data because asymptomatics are likely being included due to contact tracing and such. As example, but not a real stat... 1500 new cases reported. 100 of those cases were confirmed due to Covid-19 related symptoms. 14 were admitted for treatment and 1486 were sent home to self quarantine for 14-21 days. Pritzker is probably the worst governor in the nation on Covid-19 handling. At the rate his handling of it is going, we may not peak until July.
Our local news does have the number of admissions at times. Last time i saw that number, it equated to 29% of confirmed cases. I doubt we will see number of people on vents or any other treatment protocol as that most likely falls under the HIPA umbrella.
