Fair enough, I learned how to do more than one thing at a time. For me a video is a kin to radio. This being able to understand the words without actually viewing the person speaking them.

We do not have true form of capitalism here, correct? You can't have capitalism on the way up and socialism when it fails. If we had true capitalism you would not have bought a 2025 Chevy, because they would have went out of business in 2008.

I rather beat off with a cheese grater than say this but germ is not wrong, at it's truest form we do not. But we are at our core capitalistic.

There are different "forms" of capitalism. No there are no capitalistic governments per the original definition. Now before the crash and "great depression " we were closer to that ideological model, then they found out. Unfortunately we continued to over correct and corrupt the system ever since, human nature.

See this situation where you should ask a question rating than assuming. 2 cities in American have individuals who are proud socialists that look like they are going to win the election. That is concerning not a trend we want to see.

Perhaps because we don't follow free market capitalism and people have had enough of getting the short end of the stick. I am going to take a wild guess, after num nuts gets done, we are going to see more socialist candidates.

Trump? We have been not following free market capitalism for a long time, in fact, Trump and the Social Liberals are a by product of how we have done things.

Trump is just going to speed up the process on the social liberal side

No worries at all. This is just a forum about really nothing that matters in life, just some friendly banter.

The point is if it's not made in the USA, there should not be a Tariff on the product.

Can anyone justify him having to pay 77,250 in tariffs on a machine he can't buy in the USA?

    https://www.montanaknifecompany.com/collections/blades-in-stock

    QUOTE]
Josh Smith, founder and president of Montana Knife Co., called himself a Trump voter but said he sees the tariffs on foreign steel and other goods as threatening his business.

For instance, Smith just ordered a $515,000 machine from Germany that grinds his knife blades to a sharp edge. Trump had imposed a 10% tax on products from the EU that is set to rise to 15% under the trade framework he announced Sunday. So Trump’s tax on the machine comes to $77,250 — about enough for Smith to hire an entry-level worker.

Smith would happily buy the bevel-grinding machines from an American supplier. But there aren’t any. “There’s only two companies in the world that make them, and they’re both in Germany,’’ Smith said.

Smith beat the tariffs by buying a year’s worth of the steel in advance. But starting in 2026, the specialty steel he’ll be importing from Sweden is set to be hit with a 50% duty.

Ghislaine Maxwell Clears Trump in DOJ Interview
Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend and associate of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, reportedly told Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche during their interview last month that President Donald Trump never did anything inappropriate in her presence, according to multiple sources familiar with the conversations.

Maxwell, who is serving 20 years in prison after being convicted of sexually trafficking minors, further said nothing that could be considered harmful to the president, reported ABC News on Wednesday.
