I'd be all for a 3rd party, if, and only if it is not just some smear party. It would have to be a party that can attract from both of the 2 parties and not just one. Wouldn't it be a 5th party though? Or would it be a combining of the Libertarians and Independents in hopes of pulling voters away from both major parties? If they can't get up near the 30% mark it would serve no better than the current party situation. More division isn't what is needed, and how long would it take for the "new" party to turn to "old" ways and it becomes another same old, same old of names we already have now?
