I didn’t need a ‘real’ (full sized) truck, tacos have gotten stupid expensive. I did need a vehicle with good mileage as the new place will be 33+ miles from the office…and 2000+ miles from my elk hunting. The Maverick is now 3 months old. Avg 40.1mpg.
Yes, the first year or two the hybrid was problematic. Hopefully the bugs are all resolved now. I only wish they had a long bed option.
They make a gate add on that goes over the tailgate when it's down. It gives a bit more space. 40 mpg is awesome!!
SIL bought a hybrid American SUV.....5 yrs later and 4 battery cost... I'm thinking it's not worth it.

Well it's my understanding it's suppose to come from the standard 10% Tariffs. That and, well I thought from the lower spending caused by DOGE. Now for the life of me I can't see how CONGRESS IS NOT SETTING THOSE REDUCTIONS IN CONGRETE as it were. It seems as if they are going against what the public at large wants. Once again they are dragging feet. Republicans pulling out their shot gun again and pointing it at their own feet.
