So lets ponder this, Trump plans on lowering drug prices "drastically ". Now in the world of insurance, drug prices help to push insurance costs. How can insurance companies justify not lower their premiums?
Bring it, as someone in their early 40's, not on any prescription drugs, neither are my wife or kids, I should not be paying the high insurance premiums that people who are on multiple medications do. Bring the insurance prices down to be affordable for people in retirement and then do away with Medicaid. The government should only being paying the healthcare of those currently serving, or have served in the military.
As the only insurance, medical insurance, still under the interstate commerce clause it should be passed by Congress to abolish the law. The overhead we pay is mostly administrative for all insurance companies to provide administrative offices in each state, acting as a state owned monopoly. It lessens competition and is only achieved by those who can afford to have a presence in every state, otherwise you cannot provide insurance options in that state. It pushes high premiums and unfair healthcare barter relationships between the state and privately owned businesses. Shake downs in both directions is the legal term. When are the state school systems going to realize they HAVE TO CHANGE. When I went to school we learned what was needed in the real world. Math, english, science, civics and history as basics. Then shop, typing, we were the begining of computer science so it was programming. The computer was miles away and the size of a building. Drivers education, home economics that taught budgeting, how to write checks and run your accounts. How to sew, cook, maintain a house hold. Believe me I've been to some homes, we need to get back to some of that! Now the technology field will need robotic technicians. Start this in school. Put industrial work aside, kids growing up have got to learn how to handle everyday in home technology. Just as we were taught about our cars and electrical tools way back when. Simply can all this liberal "arts" studies crap. As far as the medical field. Teach that, and the now needed robotic aspects there. As for the law, teach JUST that, we have lawyers and Judges that do not actually know and understand the laws on the books!

Im getting pretty thin skinned over all this. Imagine a company sending a VERY LENGTHY e-mail about price changes. The heading of said e-mail " Lets talk tariffs". They then went into painful details how they out source all ingredients from, I love this, China & the EU. Whaaa whaa whaa. Now imagine my response before I simply said good bye and unsubscribed .
