Good stuff always enjoy reading your view!!

Will see when the GDP numbers come out today.

Amazon and other companies should separate the cost of tariffs out so we know how much it's costing us, in fact any policy going forward that affects cost by the government should be broken out so the consumer can see it.

UPS is cutting 20,000 jobs because of the tariffs, drones are not the reason. Hyundai committed to US has zero to do with Tariffs, and Subaru cutting Canadian exports has everything to do with Tariffs.

US dealmaking is down in the new Trump era but accelerating in other parts of the world.

Well at least Trump is improving other countries.

Best I have heard that sums this mess up
    Ken Griffin
Call me all the names you want, Ken Griffin is not liberal. He's a GOP Donor and the founder and CEO of one of the largest hedge funds in the world, Citadel.

View the need for instant gratification, the thing that put the USA into the dumpster fire debt we are in now. GOD forbid ppl go through a difficult time to get to a better situation. Even in the actual lowering of higher price that OCCURRED during the 4 years of DEMOCRAT RULE. I can't say the Biden term . He was no more than Card board image. Actually they even put it in our faces by making a fake Oval office to put him in. My God the taunting was real! The media lies, lies, lies and obfuscates.

The economy will bounce back, it always does, even from the Great Depression. I said it earlier, I will say it again. It took 6 - 12 months before the real economic impact of Biden's policies began to result inflation. It will take at least that long before any definable conclusions will be reasonably drawn about Trump's economic impact.

Get your heads out of the 24 hours newspin cycle, avoid the "sky is falling mindset." Too many people on both sides sound like Chicken Little. Remember the old adage about investments, "buy low, sell high." Investments are on sale right now.

Oh lets us also look back at the FANTASTIC jobs report in preaviuos 4 yrs.. You know the ones that were quitely "adjusted " lower every single time, weeks later. Now to that, look at what jobs were actually added in the U.S. , damn near ALL government sector.
Heres reality for you. There is out right government welfare in cash handouts. DOGE ferreted out the crazed methods as to how they did that. Then you have the welfare Government jobs. To be honest that right there, has been a decades vote buying art, politicians perfected...until now.

Inflation was caused by pandemic and Trump and Biden dumping trillions into the economy. Also disruptive supply chains and everyone sitting at home with money and then it opened up back up and everyone spent money.

If you are loosing your job you really don't care about the bounce back. I am not sure how we will bounce back or how long. Will sure, it would start to get better tomorrow if Congress would do their job.

There has always been crisis whether political or economic. Yes, it sucks if it affects you personally with a job loss. You have my sympathy if that is what you are going through. I have been there. But my point remains true, follow the general trend of the US economy since the Great Depression, and it always goes upward. Now, if we could get in government leaders who can get the government out of the way so it does not take a war, combat-related or economic trade wars, to cause the rebound, we might just find American getting back to what it was intended to be, even with its imperfections.

OMG! NEWSOM, claims Trump stole the DOGE idea from him.
Ahuh, his "DOGE", helps prevent fires, manages traffic the best in The world and it all started 6 yrs ago.
Hhhmmm exactly when did the Palasades disappear? Isn't this the same state running billions in deficit last year, and has some fast speed train being built for decades and going know where?

Theres been some good feed o China's economic collapse. That said it started way before Trumps tariffs, but those have accelerated the problems they've had.

Democrat gun control push persists with reintroduction of assault weapons ban
'This is not about the Second Amendment. This is about saving lives,' Sen. Alex Padilla asserted.

"It shall be unlawful for a person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a semiautomatic assault weapon," the Assault Weapons Ban of 2025 stipulates — it also includes the same prohibition pertaining to "a large capacity ammunition feeding device."

The problem is defining what is an assault weapon. Check out the Colorado new gun laws. Making most of the population a criminal. BTW, to see that gun control is effective, research New York City's Sullivan Act. Be prepared to get your breath after laughing.

I feel very sad for your daily fears. You really don’t like Americans who want to get ahead and be our own boss with fair trade and manufacturing. Nobody is saying the old says are coming again. Only that we have a chance to level the playing field and that my friend is what tariffs do. I am guessing you hate that food and gas is steadily coming down. The way Economists know it should be, at least those who are not progressive, liberal, globalist economists. Will you give back all the money you save to the government in the next 200 days? You can give more in taxes today, without added laws or executive orders, just fill in the amount on your tax returns. If you don’t want to answer yes, then just keep it to yourself. Because you are either naive or disingenuous.
