So, back in 2020 after the election I thought there was no way the stock market was going to sustain it's gains during the Trump presidency. I moved my entire 401k into the safe value fund. All new contributions still went into the retirement year plan, but ai felt better knowing I would hold most of my gains. Well, the market never tanked as I feared it would I didn't want to move it back while it was still at/near all time highs so it just sat there with small gains, but it was intact. 4 1/2 years later after the Thurs/Fri losses I have finally moved it back. I wanted to wait, but hell, unless you are a member of Congress you really can't guess when the right time to make moves is, Pelosi never messaged me back so I just did it. I can now at least stop worrying about when to make the move back in, but when nearly 60% of it's value was just sitting there not making the gains it should I didn't want to wait any longer.
diversify ... and buy some gold/silver ... ive never worried about stocks ... it will do what it wants, so to speak .. we are just along for the ride ..
