All of the inflation mess is the democrats and Biden Admin's fault. It is going to take more than six weeks to course correct. Will Trump's policies work? That remains TBD. If taxes, groceries, gas, and interest rates come down, the economy will recover. Lower costs of living leads to more discriminant money for individuals and families. Americans will spend the economy out of recession, if they have the extra money to do it. Kind of hard to have that extra money when groceries cost almost twice what they did four years ago.

Biden implemented his economic policies within the first week, but it took six months to a year before the ripple effect of inflation started. IF Trump's policies are going to work, it will probably take that long before it becomes noticeable.

Sorry, I see the current economic condition and inflation as the result of both parties.

The Fed govt has been running a deficit for a while with the debt snowballing. Monetary policy has gotten worse and the dollar is becoming less of a ‘safe haven’ globally.

2007-8 financial crisis under Bush admin. While the Fed govt didn’t cause the problem, per se, their handling worsened. Quantitative easing (QE) and the bank bail out were an absolute cluster!

IMHO-The Fed shouldn’t have gotten involved with the bank bail outs, though all $ was paid back with interest.

QE continued till Trump 1st term. Things became less transparent under Biden and the liquidity backstop under Biden to financial institutions as another form of Fed intervention for the 3 big banks that failed.

The pandemic also played a role across Trump and Biden administrations. The Fed $ and debt incurred was crazy, but the alternative may have been worse…

Here's what I'm seeing, farm growth again. We are in dairy and Beef country. Those farms are building more and bigger barns. Some of those are strictly calf barns, building herds.
They in turn are leasing or buying more lands for feed crops and a need to empty the manure retention "ponds". Lots of "vacant" acreage going into crops.
The crop farms are increasing their rotational plantings. Chicken farmers are ramping up. Small "road side" farmer markets are packed in pallets and pallets of fertilizers, soil mixes and ground covers. New green houses have gone up. Seedling growing for home gardeners has exploded. Stores are going with more locally grown produce, potatoes, meats ,eggs, and berries. None of this includes what the Mennonite and Amish have going on. Though if I were to drive their way I'd see the same. I do know they are doing a crazy amount of barn building , cabinet making and remodling across the area.
This is a small area in upstate NYS. in an area where the small farm production isn't a fad. Home owners have gardens, chickens and are raising their own beef, lamb and dairy goats on small acrage. That said, down state small farm production should ,theoretically, be doing much better and expanding more.
Americans adjust and even thrive in areas nation wide, where they were raised and are raising kids to be hard working individuals. Those individuals go on to start new businesses other than Uber, or door dash type services.

    Read the book.

Also had a lot of convos when I was a consultant with all flavors of people. Former Solomon quants, rating agency big wigs, FS execs, others ‘in the know’ and privy to ‘stuff’.

Both parties certainly share a blame for inflation over the past 15 years or so; endless wars, uncontrollable rising debt and ridiculously excessive spending. It has all played a role. Personally, the rising cost of gas and groceries over the past couple of years has affected me more than anything prior to that. That blame certainly falls on the last four years.

I can afford a good lawyer, have plenty of liability insurance I will take my chances if I am ever in that situation. Walz who had the democrat trifecta last season blew threw the surplus, raised taxes and next budget in 2026 there is a deficit forecasted. Walz is blaming Trump.

Not that it is political, but I'll accept the preliminary findings. He was 95, she was 30 years his younger. Odd circumstances and even odder findings, yet it could be.

Tin foil hat on..., they both had decomposition to the same extent.

He was found face down on the floor with cane and sunglasses a distance from the body.

She was found face down in the bathroom with a prescription pill bottle and the contents apilled about.

A dog found dead crated in its cage.

Probably 185% of the assumptions would have been carbon monoxide or other toxic fume findings. Even with a cover up it would have been the easiest finding to release.

    Effed up circumstance.

I would have guessed he died first and she was distraught/frantic and suffered a cardiac arrest situation.

There was a news release today, pretty much wraps it up. In a surprising way. All has been revealed.

Who in their right mind thought the deficit correction was going to be comfortable?
