since this has happened, guess who's side the dems are taking ........ lousy SOB's ...

if Trump pulls the $$/weapons to Ukraine, they are f'd ... Zelinski want American boots on the ground as part of the security, Trump will not do that ... either Zel. goes away ( one way or another) or he will come crawling back ... he must realize he isnt dealing with the Biden admin any longer ... the American teat is running dry and the dems are again on the wrong side of history ....

Was there a bodycam? There needs to be Federal law that all, save undercover , have to wear body cams. There is zero reasons not to.

Crazy, crazy, crazy Dems .. They just can't stop! I hope the administration gets the CIA and FBI cleaned out fast while making a list. A list of those craziest Dems. screaming up a storm, BUT those that would normally be screamong staying relatively silent. Those are the ones to investigate first.

If this forecast is close to being true, we would have shrunk the economy by just over 5% in a quarter. Let's hope it's wrong.

Somewhat backward looking (Jan consumer spend), exports, unemployment…It’s a predictive model.

    More details here…

The first quarter is on track for negative GDP growth, Atlanta Fed indicator says https://www.cnbc.com/2025/02/28/the...e-gdp-growth-atlanta-fed-indicator-says-.html

Perhaps more concerning should be impact to BLS algorithms, bond yields, investor perception (as evidenced by indicators like Vix up tick since mid Feb, market indices, continued mortgage slump)… several arguments could be made:
Was the Biden admin ‘cooking the books’?
    Is there uncertainty under Trump?
Is the Treasury/Fed really in control of economic conditions?
Are there other global factors at play?

Probably all the above, IMHO. I don’t see the hallmarks of the end of the dip in this economic cycle yet…generally a lot of M&A.

Changes from new administration, even given the current cuts, will create some artificial stimulation, but I see more from the bears, and DOGE cuts ahead, before those glimmers.

My crystal ball says Q1 and Q2 will be flat to negative. 2H25 I’m cautiously optimistic.

I’ll go with your model, my old employer I could have created a model with the retailers we had as customers. If we do get -2.8 this quarter we are headed for the Great Recession 2.0.

I know my current company we export our products, and we just got our first order today.

relief wont happen overnight .... may even get a tad bumpy at times, but this is where our countries finances are right now .... this administration inherited a true mess that was decades in the making ...

So happy to have won the rat race and left the track behind. I do not get why some feel the need to keep running after.

Prior to the war, Ukraine was known to be in the same corruption stratosphere as Mexico.

We have our own issues now, recession is here. We laid off over 20% of our staff this morning, that's how the media would write it. Two of the nine are gone.
