Too early in the investigation to have many facts. Apparently very gusty at the time with snow falling. My first guess was gust contributed to wing tip striking runway. Wheels getting stuck in snow or hitting a chunk may have also contributed. I didn't see deployed rear landing gear on the fuselage ( may have been torn off). Pilot/Co could've over reacted. Time will tell, but most air investigations usually don't close for like a year...

FOX had the full video and a passenger and veteran pilot on. Passenger stated they hit tarmac hard then tipped with flames. The pilot noticed the planes angle was off and didn't look like there was much ...crap can think of term what slows them down. I noticed the nose was pretty down. Pilot suggest the landing gear snapped on the hard hit causing the fire and the wing sheared off and flip. He also mentioned he and other pilots noted pilots weren't regular Delta pilots...guys doing these shorter fights getting more air time to move up to " regular " Delta pilots.

Yes thats the video, now the Fox was the morning Bill Hemmer(?) and Dana Perino midmorning show. I use to sit at the run way and watch landings in Rochester and Orlando.
