These 11th hour Presidential money, pardon, policy crap moves have to stop. Wielding immense power outside the spirit of the lawful processes. That ain't American.

this is gonna hurt the lithium battery industry ... wonder if this includes regular trail cam AA lithium's or just the larger stuff .. sabotage/terrorism ??

Huge Northern California lithium battery storage fire called "Three Mile Island" event for the emerging industry

The massive fire at one of the world's largest lithium battery storage plants in Northern California has shaken a local community worried about possible long-term impacts and brought scrutiny to the emerging industry's safety practices.

The fire at a power plant and battery facility operated by Vistra Energy in the Monterey County community of Moss Landing began Thursday afternoon, forcing evacuations and the closure of coastal Highway 1. A Monterey County official on Friday called it the largest fire ever of its kind.

The Moss Landing Power Plant, about 95 miles south of San Francisco, is owned and operated by Vistra subsidiary Dynegy and also houses two independent battery storage plants. The plant that is burning is owned by Vistra Energy while a second battery storage facility on the same site is owned by Pacific Gas and Electric, which said the incident was not a PG&E event.

looks like there maybe long lasting effects from the fire fallout/soot, etc ....

Dioxin Apocalypse: Are the California Fires Unleashing a Silent Cancer Epidemic?
    • California’s wildfires are incinerating structures containing PVC materials, releasing highly toxic dioxins into the air. These “forever chemicals” are carcinogenic and pose severe health risks, including cancer, reproductive issues and immune system damage, even at extremely low exposure levels.
    • Dioxin-laden ash is settling on California’s Central Valley, a major agricultural hub, threatening crops, orchards, and water sources. This contamination could disrupt the nation’s food supply, as the region produces a significant portion of the United States’ fruits, vegetables and nuts.

As a former urban interface specialist, and water handling specialist that dealt with wild land fire that burned into urban interface, I can attest the long term effects will come for you. My employer lied to me about exposure and long term effects we were told it all flushes out in a couple weeks.

Less than 16 hours before sanity returns to the US of A. Still hate to think of what I can wake up to that Biden signed while he was sleeping, but alas the time has come.

I have to say, the past 9 years has been torturous for the populace as a whole, I hope the next 4 can become a little more peaceful and tolerant.

The only good I can personally grasp from all this cycle of the elections is who Trump brought in. Elon Musk specifically, he cancels out Soros and Gates single handedly as far as funding goes. Still have Bezos and Zuckerberg to contend with but even they have somewhat moderated, for how long who knows?

Monetarily speaking, conservatives have finally closed the gap for future election cycles.
