Christian choirs singing Madonna’s “like a prayer” has made my Christmas season. Ryan Reynolds and Madonna are laughing, Madonna to the bank as they have to pay royalties now.

my understanding is that "you" (i.e. church) only has to pay royalties if they make money from the session. As an example - if you owned a gymnasium and played the radio while your paying gym members worked out, then you don't have to pay royalties as the radio pays this - they are the ones who make money from advertising etc. If however, you make up a "best of" tape to play while your members workout they you are liable for royalties as you are making a profit from your gym members.
So one can argue - is a church / church choir an organisation that makes money (ok - having seen how much money churches make we can certainly make that argument).
I don't believe churches need a performance license to play / perform copyright music in a place of worship (the last 3 words being the critical component of the statement)
no doubt there's a lawyer on this site who can elucidate

with that gap in her front teeth you'd wanna hope she's careful eh
let me know when Taylor Swift has a song with a similar theme, then it might be worth listening to

He sounds like the liberal he is, and just like a liberal he will bow down to remain in the public eye. Those statements along with where is now, is an indictment on him not Trump.

Now that the November election is over my only political concern is getting the state flag of Minnesota on the ballot for the voters to decide. Soon as the Friday night fishing league is on the organizational outline will be prepared to review with my local rep. Thing is you can get all the signatures but if you have volunteers not gathering the correct information the effort is worthless.

It is one thing to support Israel and that is important but do not wear a gold Star of David on a necklace if you are not jewish, that is not supporting or respecting.

Plus Trump could invite me on the plane and put Mc Donalds on the table, go ahead take pics. I will have a dip and a platinum I brought with thank you. I know my hypocrisy can only go so far but if I am indulging and over consuming I would rather drink a 6 pack before a Big Mac.

    she's a firebrand, thats for sure ..

Trump Nominates Pam Bondi for Attorney General
    https://thelibertydaily.com/trump-nominates-pam-bondy-attorney-general/

Trump: "I am proud to announce former Attorney General of the Great State of Florida, Pam Bondi, as our next Attorney General of the United States. Pam was a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, where she was very tough on Violent Criminals, and made the streets safe for Florida Families. Then, as Florida’s first female Attorney General, she worked to stop the trafficking of deadly drugs, and reduce the tragedy of Fentanyl Overdose Deaths, which have destroyed many families across our Country. She did such an incredible job, that I asked her to serve on our Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission during my first Term — We saved many lives!"

Why would you need to bait and switch for someone who is qualified like Bondi? She’s been a state AG, and has actually worked to produce policy.
