Republicans need to drop this other than to say they are above turning it into a " very fine people" as Democrats did. Then point out, unlike Trumps ,media manufactured , statement a clear mispeak as with Walz in government business, foreign or domestic could be a big problem. Sorry that just irritated me, as I said there is decorum and there is mealy mouth. I can't stomache the latter. From what I hear, most feel Vance did great so I'm happy. That said, there is still many ways to verbally land hard , stinging hits without demeaning your position.
You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I think the GOP is really playing up the good cop, bad cop thing here. They know Trump will not change and he can carry the water on bashing on everyone while Vance can be the collected one with some decorum with an appearance of getting to the point. Personally, I think it could be the best chance we have. I think JD was a clear winner last night without having to throw many punches. Kill 'em with kindness. Vance has a legitimate career of public service, no lies on his resume and he has build a solid foundation and has every reason to be confident, Walz career has clearly been based in lies and exaggerations to embellish what he has accomplished. That is the difference Chicken salad vs chicken ****.
