Also if trump was not such a moron he would have said something like this: We have an immigration problem in some parts of the country. Take Springfield Ohio where they have had an influx of 12-15000 immigrants. This puts stress on the infrastructure, schools, hospitals and police in these areas. It also puts stress on housing and food prices. Look I am not stating we stop immigration, I am saying let’s be bit more smart and strategic on who we let come to America. He definitely missed many opportunities to bring the conversation back to domestic policy and issues that middle and lower-class Americans encounter and struggle with everyday. It is sad that most of this debate revolved around foreign policy. Had he kept to that narrative he would have ran with the debate. On the other hand, Harris similarly dropped the ball, but expectations were lower. Her exceeding those expectations make it appear as if she knocked it out of the park with swing and independents. I still think its Trump's race to lose. We still have the rest of September, an October surprise (for each party), and all of October. I don't think this debate is moving the needle much. Just a really poor outcome for the GOP.
