It is like the democrats do not want a candidate that can win, they want to sit back and throw crap. The main pita democrats like Nancy, and chuck etc, will not get voted out they will stick around and muck it up with impeachments and clown shows at conformation hearings etc.

I would love to see that question revisited a month later on April 14th. Been saying it a couple weeks now, the numbers were overly inflated from the the start. Way over stated, on all accounts.

I'll also ask you this, out of the total deaths to date, how many of them were as a result of lack of beds and/or ventilators? As far as I am aware, no hospital has ran out of beds before overflow hospitals were erected, no hospitals ran out of vetilators and turned patients away because Federal agencies failed to get them what they requested. Don't believe all of the political BS being spewed by governors either. Especially a certain IL governor who is a fat piece of fesces. He claims the federal government is failing IL. I can give you a link if you want, to watch an answer he gives to a reporter who asks avout nurses and Dr.'s complaining about not having PPE. It's a political jab and nothing more on his lart. He's a billion dollar sleaze that lives in his @$!#hole Chicago mansion amd takes this state to an even deeper segment of the abyss.
I can't say I've ever been on that site., But know there are a few filled with self righteous angry peacocks. Not that we all don't have some self righteousness in us at times, just here we tend to temper it with a dash of humor and a pinch of humility. It's just nice to see.

The media will start to push the narrative that the exorbitant numbers of cases and deaths initially shown may still happen over the course of several years. That was not the modeled numbers or what was predicted. Those numbers were for where we are now and over the next month or three. Watch the narrative shift.
General welfare may cover ventilator stock piles and medical supplies. It would be the first time someone actually interpreted that constitutional clause properly, except that would be after you read and fulfill the federalist paper requirement for the states “The United States”, not including the Federal government. Interstate commerce was instituted to protect states from being price gouged by a monopoly in another state. Since, they conveniently lumped our healthcare insurance, and no other insurance into it, then it is the state’s responsibility to respond and be prepared for an epidemic/pandemic, not the federal government. The federal government should only be stockpiled for general welfare to the states, not the primary supplier. No state and no governor was prepared, including our failed governor Pritzker.
