I’m anti communism. But what sanely can we do temporarily to fix this debt ? The problem is if we fix it, Democrats will seize upon it to increase it more knowing it can be lowered. My idea is to frack oil and export it, send the profit to the debt. Highly uncapitalistic. But here’s a rub. Liberals hate oil fracking. Would they replicate this ? Possibly not. Therefore on Federal lands fracking by our ARMY corp of engineers. Sell it off, pay the debt down instead of selling the leasing rights off ? Possible dangerous repercussions if it even could be legalized but the quickest way to get us out of debt. Must be a government sponsored and owned entity paying off its debt. In the end ? Laws must be laid out to never permit Congress to allow us to debt out like this again. Not a good answer I know not a legal one neither. Just a desperate hail Mary. Oil is private industry. Nationalization of oil was what Venezuela did (socialism) and Libya (dictatorship)...in either case it ends poorly. There's also not necessarily oil under national lands...where there is, it's already tapped. Plenty of exploratory rigs across the west. Step 1 50% budget cut to all agencies. Step 2 Elected officials: elected offices pay raises will become election decisions; Benefits for elected officials will only be for their term; house and senate will have a max of x terms/yrs. Step 3 Bills and authorizations -Need to eliminate blanket programs and pork. Something like bills being single issue or line item veto. Step 4 all authorizations must be funded for no longer than the Exec admin term
A three day trip license is only $20, but by May that lake will be almost un-fishable unless you bring a boat. The uncontrolled vegetation gets so bad that even with a boat every cast will bring in weeds or moss unless you throw a frog or a d as pinned sit on the weed edges. The weeds are already getting bad there.
Bull Shoals in Arkansas has walleye. I’ve caught quite a few by accident while bass fishing and while they’re pretty good, I prefer bass.

Yes that’s what I was saying. You federalize it, it becomes Communist and we are mostly communist supporters (democrats out number us scarey huh ) I saying on top of cutting government spending which is far out of control. But it’s still communist not capitalist. But it would cure fix us a ton quickly. Maybe executive order ? But if communist democrats do it, they’d weaponize it against us. It’s not a winner because communist would flip it on us so bad, we’d never recover. Just dreaming. Cutting 50% is great. But democrat communists will triple it, raise more taxes. Largemouth bass fried in beer batter from deep clear water, not the dark green hydrilla bass. Deep South Florida LM in rock pits are almost all white silver belly faint green back, eat mostly craw bugs and shad. Meat is white as snow. Everglades LM a bit different. They eat everything and anything. Meat is still white but it tastes different. But with so much salt water fish, there’s no need to eat a sport fish like LM here. Yellowtail snapper are out on the first reef and eat awesome. Not to mention Wahoo, Mahi, Grouper, and Tile fish which are plentiful. Golden Tile, Monkfish(super rare) and Yellowtail Grouper are great as well as Wahoo and Mahi but for me pale. BTW I never caught a Monk but they are here and caught by Swordfish fishermen Forgetaboutit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
