Creating common enemies (Dems vs Repubs) helps make life and the groups you feel a closeness to feel much deeper and better. Weird phenomenon. Often times I think the powers at be create an obvious rift between social/political groups (Right v Left) to keep us common folks bickering among ourselves, and creates a smoke screen to allow them to pass legislation/further their agenda etc...Case in point take the Bush and Clinton families. During their reign neither would give credit to the other, or act as if they are on the same side, but low and behold enter Donald J Trump. Bush and Clinton families team up against Trump, and you realize the two familes are best of friends, vacation together, etc. Trump isn't part of the political social structure, therefore they all have to team up to try and destroy him.
The above nails it. My rant is Americans having ZERO understanding of true HUMAN nature. Forget the fact they haven't figured out what is really happening at the border. Look at the disgraceful lack of total out rage over an American flag being replaced by a foreign flag ON OUR SOIL!!! They have no idea the signal they sent to the Cartel and thus the Mexican government. This goes to a warning a few months ago. Dnoodles you are absolutely correct. Its a " watch what you wish for" situation. And IMO. Had parents stepped up and did their jobs as they should this wouldn't be an issue today. Had they kicked their kids back sides off the couch or said choose a sport or extra activity, not all of them, and get a part time job. There would not be such a push to automate everything. Kids would have learned about real life money, chosen better higher education or a trade. Adults would have sought the better paying jobs, not the ones that should always be the entry level ,learn how to be an adult don't seek a entry level job, then whine about the low pay,demanding they are worth more. Let me give you an example: A 40+ year old man(healthy and intelligent) I have watched for decades stocking shelves in a grocery store. I'm sorry but that is an entry tier job period. If you wanted more pay aspire to a better job, don't damand the job be classified as a higher payed position. Some compensation for years of service yes. But you make the choice to stock shelves then deal with that choice,don't demand the owner to.

Think it was called the Putin interview. Idk if it's anywhere out on the web but imagine YouTube has most if not all of it. Kinda weird tho the .ru article says took place in June or this year, but the thing I'm talking about has been out for while.
