Privilege was defined as “a set of unearned benefits given to people who are in a specific social group.” In the U.S., the post said, “privilege is granted to people who have membership in one or more of these social identity groups: white people, able-bodied people, heterosexuals, cisgender people, males, Christians, middle or owning class people, middle-aged people, English-speaking people.”
If you live in the US, regardless of the rest of that goobly-gook, you have privilege. If you aren't aware, you're ignorant and simply need to visit a second or third world nation. I've said it before, 'The worst we have in this country, is still pretty damn good.'

Sorry about the dislike Chris. I didn’t even realize I’d done it. I wonder how many times my right thumb has hit that stupid button. I never dislike any post intentionally so if anyone has ever gotten a dislike from me it was an accident. The way I view the forum the dislike button is right under where my right thumb rests when I’m holding the phone.

A little Trump-porn for 0317. I got a VIP pass to the Trump rally in Indianola, IA yesterday and got to sit right behind Congressman Jim Jordan and Dan Gable at the front. Trump actually did a really nice job and spoke for nearly 2 hours. Three times young folks would shout and protest about climate issues. Each time, the people around them immediately took their signs and pushed them to the ground where they were drug out the door to chants of "USA"!!! lol. That probably was not the best time or place to try to make a statement. At this point, I do think his nomination is probably going to become reality. So, I wanted to go see him. If he could be as humble and well spoken as he was at the rally, he could do us a solid favor for the next 4 years. But, I still have my reservations. Either way, it was an amazing day in the world of politics with many notables attending. I look forward to attending our Caucus tonight and seeing how things play out.
