I encouraged him to be a teacher. He has the gift of communication with kids and they all love him. He was concerned about the low pay and I told him to do what he enjoys and the money will not be an issue in due time. All this after a miserable couple of years working a good job for a bank and hating life. He went back to school for two additional years and became a teacher at my prompting. I was so proud of him. I just got off the phone with him and he is on his way home after helping sweep the school for anyone left hiding. He is asking me if I have a place for him in my financial advisory firm. He has been a teacher for only 5 years and in two districts. This is the SECOND time in those 5 years that he has had a shooter on premise and been locked in a room with his students fearing for his life and those that he is responsible for. He ran the halls grabbing children and throwing them in his room before locking themselves in. This is not what he went to college for. His job should not be dangerous. In no way can I encourage him to stay teaching with the current situation and I will support him in any decision he makes. He has so much to offer as a teacher, but this is almost too much.

# 1 issue that concerns voters is US involvement in proxy wars #2 the border. Biden is done I think Trump is going to get elected if he can just answer the question and shut up. Biden can not debate even with scripted questions.
Fortunately yes, we heard from him as it was happening. He had his phone in his pocket when it began and he was able to text us that he was locked down with some students in a closet. But, at that time, we did not know for sure how things were going to play out. We had some extremely anxious moments until he let us know that he thought the shooter had taken his own life. Not how a parent wants to start the day, but certainly a better result than some parents got today. My heart breaks for the families that suffered injuries or worse.
A community around 10,000 people that does not make it more or less sad than a shooting elsewhere but the % of the population directly effected is staggering.
I honestly can't wrap my head around the past couple of months incidents. No disclosure that I see on who or age of shooter, that said the number of kids killing family members or the entire family is CRAZY beyond belief. Is it TicToc, facebook, youtube or something worse that's " underround".

They are SO absorbed in thier extreme far right wing thinking that they will believe anything that is posted about the left. It actually seems to consume thier lives. Justified hate I guess? IMO Knowing his treasonous ways, selling out this country for $$$$$$$ and votes. That makes my stomach turn.
A few things every American should be able to come together on. Right or left. Protect the border. Protect the environment from pollution. Stop expanding the size of the government (government in your everyday business is anti American)
Protect the kids without infringing on the rights of law-abiding citizens. Stop giving money to other countries while ignoring the needs of our own people.
