Some of these "cockroaches" are risking life and limb to give their children an opportunity to escape life in a rusty tin shed with a dirt floor and no access to clean water, not to mention an education. I can empathize with the allure that brings and I can respect a person that is willing to go to the most extreme action to better their lives and the lives of their children. I believe in a secure boarder and I believe in a vetted process for legal immigration. But, I will never dehumanize another for simply trying to make a better life.
