I am not buying a house right now, not with these interest rates. I feel sorry for first time home buyers. I locked my interest rate at 3.75% in 2016. I pay cash for cars, both of my truck and my wife's SUV were paid in full at the time of purchase. If you have to finance a car, you can't afford it.
The first house had a 7.14% rate. How did we survive, well we bought a modest house. I have no payments on anything, nor will I have any besides bills. Also, the US economy outpaces China's for the first time in 40 years, that's interesting.
