If you filed in 2019 it's based on 2019, if not then 2018.

Guys this is a hi jack...I need advise
Saw won't hold stable chain tension. Many years of use so Ive tried EVERYTHING. get correct tension ,cover, tightened, and either chain seizes to no movement or loosens to near falling off when engaged. No rym or reason to which may happen.

Are you pulling up on the bar and chain up when you tighten the bar nuts?

I pinch bar between thumb and pointer holding it up as I tighten then check for correct spacing before engaging

Replace the chain sprocket, if they get worn and get a little bit of a valley the chain will begin to ride up the sides and loosen itself, maybe..

Nope I believe Stihl calls the part a driver, easy fix vs changing out a clutch.

If that doesn’t fix it send a picture of the outside of the plastic cover, the side of the stud that the bolt goes on, and one of the power head with the chain and bar removed

I think you got a lemon. Stihl tools usually run at least 30-40 years before they give you your first problem and even longer if you only use them a couple days per week.

15 years is more like what you’d expect for a husqvarna that gets used more than twice per year.

Lol you need to go to habitat improvements and look at my logging thread from today. That picture is normal tree cutting I do....this is a pole pruner by stihl. Or go to my first cuts thread. Dang good saw by any measure.

You are full of it. Stihl while durable is not all that. I ran a Stihl professionally in 9 states they are heavy, do not make the fps that husky does and before compression release, restarting a hot Stihl 044 would break your fingers. Good saws but not great saws. But I will say they put far too much plastic on all brands of new saws these days.

I'm not sure if it was two days, but article was referring too said something like 2 am was when Mitch and Chuck agreed on it.

The two things you mentioned were all I've seen added but just got done with work and haven't seen much news.
