I cringe every time I go grocery shopping ..... a damn 1 lb package from the deli of sliced turkey is $12 !! .... a bag of pretzels is $5 .... hell, a 10lb bag of cat litter is now $5, used to be 2.99 1 year back ... beef prices ($52 for a brisket !!), chicken prices are stupidly high now, forget about seafood, its out of reach (unless Tilapia is on sale) .... inflation is strangling households right now ...

I have NEVER seen this line this long.. it is right next to my house .... I dont use the food bank, however I am glad they are there to help...
Holy crap! I've had ppl show up at the house with cases if food from a food bank a couple of years ago. They had a bunch of produce like kale and lettuce,coconut milk, almond milk and such. They said we thought of you because your keto. Ppl won't take these types of things and thought you could use it. Hey free is free. They explained that they have to account for what doesn't go out. If they don't have ppl take stuff they get less given the next time. They were out just dropping things left over to ppl.

How so, I have heard anything about that. My wife and I have followed his Total Money Makeover plan and it has worked well for us. I have no complaints related to his ideas, worked well for us.
Well That produce was about to expire so it would have been tossed any ways... infact Wegmans had given most stuff that was on the verge of expiration. I'm sure they take some sort of tax credit regardless in that case. what surprised me was Wegmans we are an hour from. The nearest ones are Tops, Save Alot and Aldies and they are pretty good clip too.
