Not saying you don't know that or directing anything towards you, just a reply that was prompted by your post. I do need to get a dedicated defense 12 gauge though, not necessarily AR style, but high capacity none the less. Only caveat to that is probably cost and availability of good buckshot shells. Better to have it and not need it.......

Hate to say it, but Germ is correct IMO. But..... To an extent. I said earlier I hate to imagine what has crossed our borders the past 9 years. The border has always been porous, but it got worse when Trump announced his campaign mantra of "build the wall and Mexico will pay for it". Once border security became the topic of the election waves of migrants surged and illegal entries peaked to record numbers. Trump was still a candidate at that time and Obama and the left did nothing but welcome them. Trump battled the left and the courts during his term to get border security implemented. He had some success but mostly failed due to "Trump Syndrome". For 9 years we have had undocumented thugs and pieces of chit infiltrating our country. 9 years, imagine what has been planned in that time and the support they have gained in the past 3 years. Think Mexico and Canada intel are acting in our best interests? In their own best interests? Something big is looming as our military readiness is sent abroad and depleted within our borders.
So when the word got out more did not take advantage of that, the border has been easy money for years but even easier under Biden.
