I can look at most things I have nothing invested in and give my opinion, so yeah it's a terrible deal. If that was my family stuck in Iran would I want the government to do everything to get them back, yeah Would I care what the deal was, no. Would most here give a rip what the deal was if they were in that situation? I am sure some would tell the State Department this, yeah sorry that's giving up too much for the family member I love, so please lessen the deal. Yeah I am not going to get all bent out of shape, all the "logical" Americans would IMO be perfectly fine with the deal if it was their family.
I would tell any family member going to Iran that they are risking their lives by going, lets not make them heroes they chose to go there.

Then figure out how to put the breaks on both executive orders And emergency powers. See they have gotten the millions of illegals and now giving amnesty , drivers licenses, work papers, SS#''s. Illegals that are beholding to CARTELS. Does a single person think the Cartels are going to allow their cash cows to vote them out of power and cash? Of course not! They will be monitoring those mail ins these illegals will get,legal or not and make sure the votes go to the Dems. Republicans will never get smart enough to stop the mail in BS. House and Senate would be great to keep new bills from passing, but does no good for existing laws/executive orders being reversed/changed. Great for blocking anything the administration tries to pull or impeaching. It does work at state level as the Governor only has Veto or Line Veto options, both of which can be overridden by the legislature by vote. At Federal level, the President has the power of the Pocket Veto which kills anything with no legislative input/recourse. All 3 levels would be great to hold, but President and one Chamber would also suffice.
I no longer have any confidence that would happen. Dont get me wrong, I'll vote though at this point it's no different than buying a scratch off . knowing I'm just giving a couple of bucks to the state for privilege of just scratching a piece of paper.
I only meant to reverse course from a previous administration takes more than just both chambers. The pocket veto is too powerful for that. Presidency and one chamber is great, but need all 3 for true "bullet proof" legislation. A mix of any of the 3 just leads to the bulchit we have today and have had since "Orange Man Bad" took the lead.
