I don’t normally comment on this thread because it quite honestly is a waste of time but to start accusations or questions as you put it, with absolutely no knowledge of the fact is irresponsible at best. Using a news source such as foxnews which is just as sensationalized as cnn or nbc from a reporter who probably has little to no information means we don’t know much. The aircraft could have had a jammed aileron, lost hydraulics, etc etc. all would lead to the pilot having no ability to change AC course. I work with these pilots on a regular basis. Some of the most highly intelligent ppl mixed with coordination skills that are literally incredible. Most of them lean politically to the right. Not as far right as many here but that’s ok bc it’s a free country I have served under bush, Obama, trump and Biden. I have arguably been more involved with strategic level missions than most and can tell you this. all politicians suck. None are your friends. Both sides suck. They are in it for themselves. To think otherwise is foolish. The f35 has its faults but it is a gen5 aircraft that only the most capable can fly. What you allude to in the military is mostly at the general admittance level. Let’s be honest, it’s not like republicans were putting geniuses in The military. There is a reason there is a high veteran homelessness situation. The military kicked the can down the road for that individual. Some of the brightest people I know are in the military. Some of the most incredibly stupid people are in the military. They were coerced to do the entire thing by undercover FBI agents. It's borderline entrapment, whether or not you can prove they would have done it without coercion is a different story but they were coerced. The federal government has been after these militia groups for a while now. They saw an opportunity and took it. BTW I'm not right or left, I'm very much libertarian.
To be specific, there were three FBI informants and two undercover FBI agents who coerced the entire plot.
