She's played enough soccer and kicked enough field goals and penalty shots in her career, practice and games , that was no fluke. She is a USA hater, she is selfish, and she is a vindictive female dog in my personal opinion. She knew she was retiring and was not going to let the rest of the team or the USA be on top when she left. She knows any future monies would not depend on that.
