How do you compare a group of country stars that lived and breathed country music well before the internet, cd’s, and music streaming to Jason Aldein? They aren’t even close to similar times and how singers are rated in music charts. So the population of were they live makes no sense to your theory. And for the record, country music died long before Jason came along!
That’s pure BS Gary and you’re simply stirring the pot as usual. Jason Aldean didn’t write the song. He just recorded it. To my knowledge he has never claimed to be from a small town. Using your logic Charlie Daniels was a fraud because the devil never really went down to Georgia to get in a fiddle duel with Johnny. He may be making big bucks off of wokeness with this song, but he’s not the one that is making it happen. The woke crowd is doing it all on their own. I don’t listen to what passes for country music these days, but I had to listen to the song to see what it was all about and the lyrics are accurate. Bring your big city lawlessness, disrespect and rioting to rural American towns and you’ll be met by an army of “good old boys” who will put an end to it.
