Everyone has an agenda and its called politics. Sway voters and line the pockets of the politicians.. Not sure either side really cares all that much about we the people anymore... Just their damn agenda!
That seems to be the problem you have connecting the dots with. There’s no doubt schools are moving along in a healthy manner. But, There needs to be a parental presence to keep the filth from moving in on that school. I’ve already stated this with you but you seem to have one finger in your ear.
Want an indication of what's to come..look at local adds for school employment needs for next year. That will tell you all you need to know one way or the other.....I see Rochester/ Buffalo is moving areas 40 miles south. The county seat has one of the bigger State teaching schools where do you think the majority has always come from in their admissions...down state towards NYC and big cities. I know, I grew up, lived, worked in the town. More over hubby did several builds and rehabs to the college over the last few decades. Some people live in bubbles and over time the view from inside gets cloudier and cloudier. Then they just stop trying to see the clear picture on the other side

Yeah, there is some nutting stuff that goes on, but the majority of it is kids with parents who don't care. If you don't like your school for your kid, join the board, get involved, or do what we did. I did not like what the district had to offer for my daughter, so I sent her to a private school. At 12,000+ a year that meant sacrifices had to be made. My wife and I did so. Or home school.

There’s another option. You can stand your ground and stand up for what is right. You don’t always have to tuck your tail and run. Seems that what’s encouraged these days and that’s what that side of the fence wants. Are you saying those schools that are healthy in a good way are not subject to the trash that’s coming? They can’t possibly be affected in the future right? And I’m sure you’re educated enough to know that the Private sector is not sealed with a golden shield. It only takes 1 lawyer to make that change.
