    Actually, kinda ya and mostly no. The gov is funded by taxpayers, but this is going on the deficit. I.e. A big IOU.

    It will come back to haunt them for years. Now when they drag their feet during regular session, no matter what party, they won't have a stockpile of excuses to fall back on.
    Being optimistic with a touch of pessimism.. I hope this brings both sides of the political spectrum a little closer together, social boundaries acknowledged, and we can get back to some middle ground where progress takes place.
    As for UBI, I'm for it but rolling it out on two weeks or less!? No way. Suspend student loan payments, free up employers to not withhold state and federal for a month or two, issue wic cards and turn the unemployed into WPA sanitation workers. "You got time to lean, you got time to clean." Make America Sparkling Clean Again.
