I agree with the response of shutting things down to prevent the spread of the disease. My comment was directed to all these weenies who want to ban gun sales to quell possible gun violence due to the hysteria of the virus. Weenietown. Germ, both sides of the aisle, men are becoming straight weenies. I swear men cant even act like men anymore without fear about being called aggressive, ultra masculine, or even better, toxic masculine or whatever that stupid phrase is these days. How that translates is that Group Think is becoming more prevalent in the stupid decisions our government leaders make every day. People can't even say what they really think without being labelled as "heartless", "not sensitive", or "not understanding every point of view". People need to realize that some points of view are stupid and need to be called out as much. Weak.

If our government was prepared this would not have happened to the stock market. What it's showing is 0 faith in our administration right now and all branches.
BS the airline and hospitality industry, movies, sports all that revenue is gone. There is no way it was not going to effect the stock market.
Not what I said, what I said was that fact there we are at this point is a falining of the Goverment not taking this serious back in January. “all work out well,” “very slowly in the U.S.” he had no idea we were not testing “very much under control” His first press confernece needed 6 corrections within 30 mins last Monday, that can't happen in times like this, period His second was way better, but the damges has already been done. I beleive he gets it now and I like what he has done with the private market. It's time to stop being on sides and state the facts. Trump screwed the pooch on this at the beginning, but he has recovered and I believe on the right track now.
I do agree that Trump should've not tried to play the cheerleader or paint this all cherry. I disagree that there was anything in January that could've been done differently which would've avoided maket impact. Global economy is affected by a global pandemic. Having said the above and in spite of it, there was opportunity for better and more consistent messaging. But I'm not sure would be different from the emerging health outcome perspective.
It's all about confidence, hell we all know it will come back. Hell, I plan on buying and investing more. It's not cheerleading, it's lying and his little cute lies that folks thought were so funny are not so funny now. I truly want to have confidence in him at this point and will stand by my President at this time, but he as to have more days like Friday. I believe Trump is a lot better beyond the scenes than people realize, we need that guy in public. Not the one stating it's under control only to have someone from the CDC 5 mins later go, no it's not.
