They need to bring in use of force experts to testify on his behalf. How someone in that protective defensive state of mind may visually track someone and pull the trigger as that person falls or the shooters mind is locked up in massive fight or flight. Just like we give the creeps the benefit of the doubt, we so need to be honest about our good guys. Bad guys with guns aren't stationary targets.
