there would be no 'demand' if not for government intervention; ie force.

The government puts a gun to your head and says, "You will eat bugs. And not only will you eat bugs, I am going to take some of this money out of your wallet right here, and 'invest it' in bug farmers."

There would be bug farms ready to supply you in short order. Poorly run ones; under capacity and prone to catastrophic failure, but there would be bug farms.

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but it's not lying if you believe it to be true.

Someone ask Germ how much additional land these energy companies are aggressively buying up for the unrecyclable blades of the turbines. Green energy but complete pollution of the land.

What a dolt. He brags on his high 6 figure salary, but completely ignores his double digit IQ on reality.

I don't follow any media source any longer so I don't even know who or what we're talking about, but "the most widely accepted definition of lying is the following: “A lie is a statement made by one who does not believe it with the intention that someone else shall be led to believe it”."

Therefore, if the person who says something that isn't true actually believes what he/she said to be true, then it isn't a lie. An incorrect statement maybe, but not a lie. Dnoodles is 100% correct in what he said. It's basic reasoning.

Now go ahead and put a liberal spin on that.

I don't know anyone who knows AJ personally (and I know a few) that don't think he genuinely believes what he propagates- even when they disagree with him.

That, and he's almost never wrong.

Germ and some others think that AJ is a grifter and doesn't believe in the 'conspiracy theories' he propagates; and is only in it for the money.
I have reliable sources who state unequivocally that AJ does believe in his own hype. Like Trump, he's a showman and salesman and therefore prone to hyperbole; but he believes in his direction wholeheartedly.

He admitted in his divorce case when it came to him losing his kids his show is all an act.

    “He’s playing a character”

    From his wife
“He’s not a stable person,” she reportedly told the court. “He says he wants to break Alec Baldwin’s neck. He wants J-Lo to get raped.”

“I’m concerned that he is engaged in felonious behavior, threatening a member of Congress," she added, referring to Jones’ recent comments about Rep. Adam Schiff, D-California. "He broadcasts from home. The children are there, watching him broadcast."

There is no spin here, the man is a POS, if you want to back him, well he's all yours I guess.

As I said above he certainly changed his tune when he had something to lose.

Soon to be Ex wives in the middle of a contentious extremely high dollar alimony divorce case make for reliable character witnesses...(eyeroll)

And I don't 'back him' per se; I back his right to say whatever the hell he wants (barring calls to violence) without fear of government reprisal.

He was 'convicted' by judicial decree and denied due process. And done so by a raving lunatic purple haired partisan judge, for that matter.

Exactly all that. Since it is this Right Wing wingnut, it's ok to deny him the rights of every other US citizen. Right. Eh, comrade?

    Did I miss something?
How many billions of dollars have gone to Holocust survivors from the deniers that have spoken out?
I do not watch Jones . Also haven't followed this trial or sensational reports on both sides other than peripheral info that comes across.
SEE how that works, people you do not like, you think are liars, say things you don't agree with, just turn away from them and problem solved.
In this world you can choose to be hurt and outraged by others words. See that word , choose? That is your RIGHT.
It is also the right of others to choose to say things they may or may not believe. It's their choice
We forgot to drive into our kids ,starting decades ago, the number one mental health tool. Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words can never hurt you.
The "movement" knew from the get go how powerful that saying actually is. They then, in schools, started drilling into kids minds that words are devastating to you if you don't like them. Then used the internet for normalizing the rewriting of definitions and progressed to the banning of words.
Over the years I've said , words are important. They broke that, words are becoming irrelevant. It's now all about personal feelings trumping actual definition and context within a series of words. Personal feelings trumping reality. Of course those feelings, well the "movement" also seeded the ones kids are suppose to have.
