Is this another case where you are acting dumb on purpose? California currently is having issues with providing electricity at a sufficient level to meet demand. The demand is only going to go up as more electric vehicles are on the road and California's power grid can not keep pace with demand.

Here’s a little tid bit, electrical grids can and will be updated, just like we did for ICE cars with gas with infrastructure. We are moving to EV cars and the market will take us there. They are also getting rid of gas appliances and that will drive demand even higher, it is not just California and Texas that have a crisis even with current demand.
