I'm not answering, it would be used as proof of premeditated in NY Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
Depending on how close, would draw backing up. If you're within about 20ft he'd be on ya before you could draw but either way you're probably getting stabbed or cut in any type of knife/hand fight. But if get drawn trigger will get pulled. If I'm carrying it's. Easy to type out, irl who knows? Either way would be backing away reaching for sidearm. After that would depend on how guy reacted. Not a unique statement but weapons instructor had once said "better to be judged by 12 than carrried by 6," I'd take my chances in court if came to it. But again irl, who knows for sure until happens. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Depends...these Hoodie hoodlums are not usually alone...that's the problem . He may have a knife but his buddy(s) May have " autos ". Other than that I may be explaining why bringing a knife to a --- fight was pretty stupid.
I am thankful that the remainder of my student loans are going to be paid off. There are a lot of people out there who took out loans with no intention to pay them back, and then there are a lot of people out there like me who have been responsible and have been paying every month. Once the plandemic started and student loans were put on hold I continued to pay MORE each month because there were 0 interest rates (there are millions of people like this). This plan helps so many people like me (I can now save $500 a month), it's not all bad. So many times we have asked to help the working middle class. Some student loans get cancelled and it's the end of the world. There is honestly no way to win. Any change the left makes the right is infuriated and any change the right makes the left is infuriated. That's all I have to say about it. I am thankful and will continue to try and find the good in any situation.
why should i pay your loans ???? I paid all my loans, i worked hard all my life, I raised a family, I have a little nest egg !! NOW YO WANT THAT TOO ???
I have no issue with this and I am one 9000 dollar payment for my daughter who will graduate in May with BA in UA/UX and Japanese. Total cost first year 24,265, the second year was a covid year 17,200, back to 24,300 final 2 years. My only complaint is not getting reduced tuition for online classes(covid year).
It's just vote buying. Worst part is they are buying your vote with my money. My daughter is in college right now and it's not a quick easy process to get funding to go. It's a few hrs. I promise you she knows it's HER responsibility to pay them back... Not America's Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
You don't have to get pissed at me. I had every intention to pay them back like millions of other hard working college students. Good thing I only had $3500 of $42,000 left.
At a minimum, if you paid all your student loans off, or as a parent if you paid student loans you should get a $10,000 tax deduction.
"The American Republic will endure, until Congress realizes they can bribe the people with their own money."
I don't know how the student loans work are they federally funded or through private entities? What is the interest rate ?
Both Int rate shouldn't really matter...but fed are lower than private as they are subsidized. Many of the tier 1 & 2 (big) banks got out of the student loan bus...
I disagree. The I want my share is dangerous and exacerbates the socialism mindset. Also if the loans are forgiven, there will be tax consequences... One other thought, I've not read the details on the forgiveness, as it relates to private loans, but if private loans are forgiven, think about the economic impact...if a commercial company needs to write off 20-33+% (based on average out standing loan amounts quoted as 36-50k and the intent is to wipe 10 or 20k) off a part of their business, what are they going to do?
I think this is going to backfire on Dems, bigley. I rarely use this term in politics and policy because it's overused, but there is no more applicable word for this- it is literally outrageous. It is the government stealing from me to pay for thee. I cannot abide this. I posed the armed robbery question earlier not because I care about anyone's concealed carry ethos, but to put armed robbery in a slightly different and more tangible, visceral perspective. Your government is stealing from responsible citizens, you and your family, and giving it to other people who have not earned it. They are just doing so by implicit force rather than the point of a knife. The mechanism is different, but there is no difference in effect. Decent people of all political leanings and education levels understand the inherent unfairness and abject evil of this. Veterans, blue collar people, people who honor their debts and commitments and put in the work to pay off their own loans. People who don't know the difference between GDP and KFC inherently understand and are enraged by the immorality of being forced to give the fruits of their labor to someone who didn't earn it and more importantly is perfectly capable of earning their own living. It's all our duties as free citizens to spread the sentiment and fan the flames of this abject dumpster fire into an inferno of civic and civil action. Mobilize in November, vote every single one of these thieving Democrat scumbags out, and then we can purge the Republicans of their own UniParty scumbags sending our money to Ukraine.
