How about this..... The "Mass Murderer" targeted the mall because he "knew" there would not be anyone carrying a firearm inside because it was deemed a gun free zone. He was wrong, and you might say the good samaritan was wrong as well, but in the end did the end justify the means? For one of them, indeed it did. Now, I do not condone breaking the law, but the old adage "I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6" rings true in this instance. All that said, and this has happened before as well. There's an instance in $hitcago of someone using a firearm on mass transit in a similar fashion, he as well was not charged and considered a hero of sorts. Know why? Because these gun control "afficiando's" know that gun free zones are killing zones, and should they charge these good samaritans for carrying in a prohibited place and actually saving innocent lives, they will ultimately lose in court and be severely limited in their restrictive measures to limit places of carry. Would this see you in tee have the same view if her loved one was saved or God forbid killed in one of these shootings?
Hoosiers typically don't read so good. That being said, typical of an idiot Lib to presume a sign that says something is "law". It's not a law. Just a rule with no legal criminal impact, and only in place to indemnify the business from lawsuits.
Some states do include a clause in their laws based on signage. The Google machine says Indiana Does Not include that verbiage... NC does, as other states might.
