A lot of the oil is shipped overseas because we don't have the refining capacity here in the US to turn it into gas. Mostly because Dems have told the oil & gas industry they are going to do everything in their power to destroy it, so nobody is building refineries or updating existing ones. Oil doesn't do you any good unless you can turn it into gas and our refineries are currently running at 98% capacity as it is.

So explain how exporting from the national reserves will lower gas prices domestically if US refineries are at max output? asking for a troll...

It won't and that's not the problem, we are exporting twice as much refined fuels as we were pre-pandemic. So if one really wanted to affect gas prices Biden would ban all exports of refined fuels, being were about 25-30 million barrels short in our reserved.

Classic call me a troll because you are clueless about what the actual problem is, carry on.

This just made me realize I was wrong all along. Thinking the Dems were like Ostrich. Putting their heads in the sand..onLy no unlike the ostriches that go due south to hide their heads in the sand, the Dems start south get half way there and hang a uie and go due north into darkness. This explains the not only being deaf, dumb, and blind but also unable to distinguish the stench of ****e leavening the white house over the............

Funny about Keystone XL it was approved in 2016 as a two-year project and was 8% done in 2020 when the supreme court ended it.
Biden did not end it, it was already done, and he had to look good for his base.

Price gouging is another great one, oil companies make big money because they spend big money. They work on a 10% net profit. It's fun watching these two throw their political footballs around to fire up their base.
