No actually I haven't. To that The info of the teacher, which immediately brought to mind legal issues down the road. That info does not address the time line of waiting as kids MAY have blood to death.

From the time the first officers entered the school to when the shooter was ultimately killed was 1 hour and 16 minutes. Commading officer declared it a barricaded sshooter rather than an active shooter as he thought all inside were deceased. Even while 911 calls from teachers and students were coming in.

Now as far as the Door propping That was one of my biggest pet peeves. In high School. The kids would routinely go for the most remote door to sneak someone in or to sneak out to smoke or go get fast food . They learned quickly How fast I could run and a couple of intruders just how, let's say firm I was as they fled.
Doors are actually the simplest to secure! You camera them up and put an ALARM ON THEM . If you have the normal JA kids that will test the limit. Hoodie or not you will get their picture and the punishment should be harsh. No NOT Suspension! Either financial to them and parents in fines and or community( school) service..let them spend some time scraping gum off of desks, washing hallway walls on a few Saturdays. Actual punishment.

So if that is what pans out as ACTUAL _facts
Then both the teacher propping open the door and the commanding officer need to be prosecuted for criminally negligent homicide.
    Case in point
Nurses that have given or neglected to give medication in proper doses or common sense care causing death, have been CONVICTED for doing so.. This is definitely no different. An officer of all people HAS to know not all shots are instantly death shots.

The odd part is, she props the door open, left and returned and propped it open again.

One minute after she propped it open he crashed, 2 men from a funeral home ran towards the crash as the lunatic exited the passenger door with gun. He fired I believe it was 19 rounds from the crash site missing them. Then as he approached the school hid behind a vehicle as the school resource officer arrived on scene and drove past him to a teacher on other side of school(the one that propped the door open???, was not asked or answered) as he thought it was the shooter. Then lunatic starts toward the school firing another 22 rounds into the school windows and then entered.

Think it was 6 minutes from crash to entry. AR-15's are loud. If the teacher first approached by the school officer was not the one who propped the door open. Why didn't the teacher close the door on the first heard shots?

If the teacher was the one at other end of school something seems even more fishy about this.

The DPS officer giving the briefing was asked about whether the teacher was involved or under investigation, was hard to hear the exact question. He replied that he was not going to discuss that.

Fishy or total incompetence, unfortunately there is an abundance of that in schools. I Had a lunch cafeteria worker leave a 10 kitchen knife sitting on the tray return table. I had a particular JA high school boy pick it up and came toward me waving it. Now I knew this kids and actually could have put him down quickly had the need arrived. I talked him through it as we approached each other. My only fear being one of the other boys being a hero. Which I was also addressing as I scanned the room . A male teacher with me did not handle it well. Long and short he just wanted to be the big man in the moment and to see if he could scare me. I managed to keep him out of jail and defuse the meeting with him ,parents, teacher and principal.
That could have been far worse. Believe me the cafeteria worker was reprimanded. Zero reason a knife should have been anywhere near there.
Staff need training period. Most dangerous times in school
    End of year
    Before and after holidays
    And midterm testing.
They should all ha v e monthly reminder meetings.
Yes you are right that gun makes some noise...stick staff in an auditorium and play sound tracks of different calibre guns going off. Do this every single year until the sound is second nature to not only recognize but pin point direction.

Please someone put up the #'s side by side:

CRT consults, literature books. Window refits of first story Windows with bullet proof glass
Extra pay or bumps to teachers teaching CRT Extra safety training for All staff.

One more thing have each class room wired with a panic button that only teachers can get to.

He also asked his sister back in 2021 to help him purchase a gun and she would not.

He had many times had a 4 way conversation on instagram about needing gums and school shooting. One of the others
Asked him if he was going to shoot up a school, and he said no, stop asking dumb questions and you'll see. Then, I thought the officer said March 14th of this year, but media saying May 14th, he posted 10 more days.

Officer also stated that information that the lunatic was arrested in 2018 was incorrect. He was not one of the 2 nor connected to them in any way. Apparently the 2 were arrested and charged with intent to carry out a school shooting.

Well it's all arm chair quarterbacking after the game. Too much human blame to go around one way or the other. It will be BS, hysterical reactions until Dec. Then they'll all have pushed it to the rear of the bus until the next copy cat comes in looking the be...the next " big man "
